Hospital Checklists!
Here at cranio ribbons ireland, we know how difficult it can be to try and remember everthing you might need for that all important hospital trip. So to make things easier for you, we have made a simple checklist;

Toiletries

Change of clothes (something comfy, there is a lot of sitting around!)

Phone charger (there is one in Temple Street but the Ques can be chaotic!)

Something to occupy the Kids

Something to occupy you, a book or a hobby!

A cloth hat or bandanna for when your child leaves the hospital, hats can be itchy and irritate the scar.
We have our own care packages that we have put together to make your hospital stay that little bit easier!

Parking!
As Temple Street doesnt have it's own carpark, finding a space can be a tricky task! However, a local business is allowing patients to use their carpark at discount rates!
The scar!
As with any surgery, there is always a little mark or scar left afterwards. With cranio vault surgery, your child will have a zig zag scar from ear to ear, over the top of the head.
